In the developing countries like India, transportation in inevitable in fact, transportation plays a vital role in the nation’s development. Particularly the road way of transportation, in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and so, government runs the state wide public mode of transportation.

Sadly, most of the vehicles which are operated under the state wide public transportation by the government of India are poorly maintained and results on contributing a high level in polluting air. Government of India plans to establish this Green Urban Transport Scheme (GUTS) in large scale with more effective mechanism. All public transport vehicles will be replaced with the new form of eco-friendly vehicles, if the scheme seems to be the successful one.

However, in order to be more effective the estimated budget amount of making this scheme a successful is in huge numbers. So, government plans to consider the involvement of private sectors to contribute in this Green Urban Transport Scheme (GUTS) in the mode of outsourcing.

Since, the government of India, plans to use the clean eco friendly energy source in this Green Urban Transport Scheme (GUTS) along with the advanced technologies, the estimated budget amount would be in high level which hard to be fully afford by the government of India.
