Here are the detailed procedure to open account in PM Jan DHan Yojana
You will be required to fill the application form which can be collected from either the bank or Yojna Kendra or downloaded from the official website – http://www.pmjdy.gov.in/Default.aspx. The form is available in both Hindi and English languages.
Opening a bank account under the Jan Dhan Yojna is very simple and easy. The applicant requires to fill the application form with complete details and submit it at the bank and Yojna centers along with the Voter ID card issued by the election commission, Driving License (if issued), Passport copy (if issued), Aadhar Unique ID card (if issued), Pan card (if issued) or any other accepted Id proof. Post the verification of all documents the Jan Dhan Yojna Savings Bank account will be activated along with the allied benefits thereof.
