The wait is finally going to be over when the CBSE will declare the results of the higher secondary level exams of the session 2020. The class 10th and 12th results of the CBSE board will be declared soon. All the students of the 10th and 12th standard who are eager to get their results can get their results on the above mentioned date through two processes – either online process or through SMS. The CBSE board has declared that the results will be out at 12 noon on the result declaration date . A record total of 10,67,900 class 10th and 12th students have appeared for the CBSE final exams.

The CBSE will use their online result declaration portal for declaring the 10th and 12th standard results . The website where the students can get their class 10th and 12th results is – www.cbseresults.nic.in. On 21st May, the students and parents may view their results after 12 noon by visiting this website and uploading the required details of the student. So after visiting the above said webpage for the class 10th and 12th CBSE result, they must go to the “Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) 2016” tab. This will automatically open the result extraction and downloading page. Before 12 noon, this tab will not function at all. There are also alternate websites where students can visit such as www.results.gov.in and www.results.nic.in for getting their 10th and 12th standard CBSE results.

Roll Number

The top most section in the SMS update registration form for students in Jagran Josh for the class 10th and 12th CBSE results is ‘Roll Number’. Here the candidate must fill up the roll number which was allotted to them while appearing in the class 10th and 12th CBSE exams. Roll Number is the primary key for getting registered in this SMS information process. The candidates can get their roll number in their Class 10th and 12th admit card which was issued to them before the commencement of their board exams. The roll number is a 7 digit number allocated uniquely to each eligible candidate of the Class 10th and 12th CBSE exam who has applied for registration for exams. This field must be filled up carefully by the students.

Name

After the student has filled up his / her Class 10th and 12th CBSE exam Roll Number correctly, then the next required field to be filled up is ‘Name’. Name of a candidate who has already appeared in the CBSE board class 12 exams is the exact name that is mentioned in the admit card. No titles like Shri / Smt / Mr. / Miss. / Mrs. are to be written before writing the original name. The exact name is to be entered in this section. There must be a space between the first name, middle name (if any) and the last name of the candidate. No full stop is to be entered after entering the name.

Mobile Number

The 3rd section of the registration form for receiving SMS updates about the CBSE Class 10th and 12th results is the ‘Mobile Number’. The candidates must enter their valid mobile number where they want the updates regarding their CBSE board results and further career assistances via SMS. The 1st tab of Mobile Number is the country code of India which is +91. It is already entered in the registration form and is fixed and cannot be altered to any other country code. Only the 10 digit mobile number is to be filled up in the 2nd tab of this segment. The mobile number which is entered must be regularly active in nature to get timely updates via SMS. No space is to be provided while typing the mobile number.

Date of Birth

After inputting the correct mobile number, the candidate must furnish correct details of his / her date of birth. In this segment, in the first tab, the candidate must enter the day on which he / she was born. They can select days from 01 to 31 here. After day, the must select the month of birth. The months are given in Jan – Dec order, where the birth month is to be selected. One cannot type the data. They must select the data from the list which opens when the respective tab is clicked. The last tab in this segment is the Year tab. Here, the candidates will have to enter the year in which they were borne.

Email ID

An important field in this registration form to get updates on Class 12 CBSE board results is the E Mail section. In this section, the candidate must enter the valid E Mail ID of self. This email ID is important not only for the registration purpose, but also one can get all updates via E Mail also apart from regular SMS in the registered mobile number. The updates regarding the result of the CBSE 10th and 12th standard will be provided along with other career opportunity updates which will be useful after passing the Class 10th and 12th exam.

Gender

There are two optional tabs for selection under this ‘Gender’ section. Either the option of ‘Male’ or the option of ‘Female’ can be selected by the candidates. This section is very useful for efficient tracking the updates on the results and for sending career advices more efficiently to the candidates. Click on one of the two gender options to proceed.

Your Location

In this section, the candidate has to fill the area where they reside in India. There are two parts in this section. The first tab is the ‘State’ from where the candidate has appeared for the Class 10th and 12th CBSE board exams. There are a total of 35 entries out of which one entry is to be selected. All the states and the union territories are listed here. After selecting the state, the next part of Location is the place within that selected state. Suppose a candidate selects West Bengal in the 1st tab. Then all the districts will get listed in the next tab. He / she can select the district of residence. The location is to be entered correctly in the registration form.

Your Stream

There are several streams on which the candidates might have selected their course of study in the higher secondary level of CBSE boards. There is a division of five streams namely PCB, PCM, Commerce, Arts and Others in the registration form. Those who have subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Biology will select this option. Those candidates who have subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will choose the second option. These two options are part of Science stream. The students who have studied commerce in their higher secondary level must choose the ‘Commerce’ option. The Arts or the Humanities stream students must select the ‘Arts’ option in the registration form. Lastly, if any candidate have studied in any other stream apart from the four mentioned, them they must go for the ‘Others’ option.

This is the most vital section of this registration form for SMS updates to Class 12 CBSE board students. Study mode

After selection of the desired course, the candidates can also choose the mode of study they want to get admitted. They can take the courses after the completion of their Class 12. They can take up either Regular mode, Distance mode or Online mode of education. The regular mode is most favorable for maximum candidates. Studying in Distance mode is helpful largely to those who want to do a job apart from studying. Submitting the registration form

After filing up all required details, the candidate must click the check box appearing above the SUBMIT button. This will give permission to the Jagran Josh team to send updates via SMS as well as E Mail. Then, the candidate must click the SUBMIT option for completing the registration process.
