What is Delhi Shramik Mitra Yojana
Delhi Shramik Mitra Yojana is a scheme which will reach out to all the workers from unorganised sectors of the state. The Scheme will provide benefits through various programmes to the workers.
Delhi Shramik Mitra Yojana Features
- Delhi Shramik Mitra Yojana will provide an assistance for house construction of upto Rs. 3-5 lakhs.
- The scheme will provide grants to the workers on natural death. The grant will be of up to Rs. 100000.
- Delhi Shramik Mitra Yojana will also benefit pregnant workers of the state. It will provide maternity benefits of Rs. 30,000.
- Workers will also be provided a grant of Rs. 5000 for purchasing tools.
- Screen will provide a loan benefit of Rs. 20000 to the workers of the state.
- On an accidental death, Rs. 200000 will be granted to the workers.
- In case of disability, the workers will be provided with a grant of Rs. 1 lakh.
- Workers will get a monthly pension of rupees 3000 under the scheme.
- Assistance in regards to school education of children will be provided. The monthly assistance would be Rs. 500.
- Scheme will provide assistance for higher education as well. The assistance for higher education will be rupees 10000 per month.
- Apart from other benefits the workers will also be given the benefits in regards to marriage. The government will provide marriage assistance to both workers and for their children. Assistance would be of rupees 35000.

The Delhi Shramik Mitra yojana is for the workers from the unorganised sectors of the state. The scheme will not benefit the workers of any other state.
